ParaMedical Exams
OHP provides ParaMedical Exams to dozens of insurance agents in the south central Kentucky region. A paramedical exam is required when an agent writes a life insurance policy on a client of a certain value, or if the client is of a certain age. OHP schedules the exam to fit into the client’s schedule and gets the information to the underwriter fast. The exam is paid for by the underwriter, so there is no pressure on the agent or the client.
The exam can include the following:
- ParaMedical report (history and physical)
- Blood Profile
- Electrocardiogram (EKG, ECG)
- Urine collection
- MD Physical
If you are an agent and want to request an examination for your client, please download the OHP request form, fill it out and fax it to OHP at 270.781.6477. To learn more specifics about the examination process, just download this brochure.
